Location: central nj | WELL DONE!! I know the screws that held my 1617's case handle could never be tightened unless I punctured holes inside the velvet-teen lining. Never did that and lived with a loose handle. This would have certainly placed less stress on it if it was installed from the beginning. Nice idea!! |

Thank's for sharing !
Just one question, is this straplok case convenient for walking ? I mean, doesn't it fall down on your legs with the weight of the guitar + case ? |

Mr. T, FD-14 (Fud5) is at the dry cleaners at the moment, I'll post pics when she gets back. |

It sets off to my side, so my legs don't hit when walking. Works well. |

| Seriously cool pics. Did you build the house as well? Courtesy of your mug shot Mrs Schroeder just took you off the hit list and put you on her other list. I don't know what this means but it may be way more dangerous.
The pony express thing was "Has the postman rung twice yet?" I sent my 12 year old daughter to the post office with it with instructions (and money) to send it airmail. I would not be surprised to find out that she sent it by steam packet and spent the difference. I would be appalled if she didn't remind me of me quite so much.
How heavy is that wooden O ? |

I did build my house, had lots of help. Something, I won't be doing again any time soon.
Tell Mrs. Schroeder that, I can't afford to be on, yet another, "Person Of Interest" List-- case in point, the Pony Express is probably being "Quarentined." You know, "Equine Flu" (i.e. Cavity Search, you can fit a dirty bomb in a horse.)
I'll send an express note (via carrier pigeon) to you so you may relay it to the insistent 12 year old, upon receipt. (though the imagine of her tugging at your pantleg daily maybe worth an extra day or two.)
The wood roundback is VERY light, one of the lightest guitars I've ever held. |

....and there shouldn't be anything wrong with that.
Willard,
you have the right idea...it is a series of climbing and traverse elements finishing with a huge swinging leap from the platform in the picture. |

| but was it in Thailand? and did you end up there because the check-in guy asked where you wanted to go and he thought you said "Phuket"? or were you just buying stuff for your import business?
we need details. |

"The pictures" were taken in Bang Sare (Thailand), just as I was completing the construction.
It was just after this that the check-in guy mistook my poor Thai pronunciation as an insult, which unbenownst to me, got me on a flight landing in a small field, in a boarder town, in Myanmar, formerly Burma. The funny part is, as I had no documentation nor permission to enter Myanmar, I was immediately arrested by local quasi-army regulars and put to forced labor in a notorious opium den in Pyu, as the Sommelier.
Due to my incidental knowledge of obscure high-end black-market German wines, I became somewhat of a local legend. With the small gratuities infrequently afforded me and by performing a truly deviant ventriloquist act, I was able to secure my freedom from the Den Marm. Great Gal. |
