Nice jab C!
I find the cheetah print rather "Honey West-ish" while the Camo - is downright intimidating.
The Asian Floral with gold accent looks rather "Moody-esque"! |

| P baby - have you considered what great song titles your postings are?
The cd can be called "Persephone Playing", and if "Straps for Chicks", "Women Have Breasts" and "I Need Help" aren't just natural hit song titles then I'm an Englishman.
StandingO - we'll get there yet. The usual suspects have yet to post. I of course wouldn't lower myself. |

Also, why didja pick such a tragic name, is that 'cause you're a goth? Or is it because of your opinion of Dayton? Nothing wrong with that, just curious ... |

Hey Cruster,

But, I think I'll leave that to Woody. Ooh, which reminds me. Went with SWMBO up to K-ameapart to get some sundry crap. I picked up a hobbiest magazine. As we stepped up to the checkout she asked me, 'So, what did you get.' I loudly, yet suavely replied, 'I got Wood, baby.' That caught the attention of the cashier and a couple of nearby shoppers. Man, I love doing that. |

There are far more Lurkers than Posters on the OFC. Are we encouraging to others to take part on the board or are we the only Website where 13 year old boys pretend to be 45 year old men.

I thought it was way old. Time moves in a strange way when you get old. Although I'm probably thinking of a completely differnet film. It was the oine with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby wasn't it? I'll swear I can hear Dorothy Lamour say that line. |

Location: Midland, MI | OK, my post 'only 1/2 the time' was a reference to the mythos of Persephone. Nothing sinister there, and nothing beyond the pale, as I'm not the one who gave Persephone the handle, she chose it herself. I assumed that an4340 was referring to said mythos when he said someone who has chosen the handle Persephone *may* have a problem with certain men on this board. I believe his comment was a direct reference to the mythical Persephone's marriage. If you're not familiar with the story of Persephone, find yourself a good library. ;)
On the most recent turn of topic...I actually own GPB on DVD. John Cusack is one of my favorite actors. His sister plays some hilarious characters in several of his movies, which is always a nice bonus.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's actually been in Grosse Pointe (Woods, Shores or proper). The people I've met and know in the Pointes are eerily similar to the characters in the movie. Brad could probably straighten me out on that as he lives much closer. ;) |

But, I suppose the same could be said about most locales...just that most locales haven't had movies made about them. ;) I could tell stories about Midland and what I call 'The Dow Wives'... |
