A mid 70's Viper just sold on ebay for $550. Looks like prices are going up. 5 years ago I bought my Viper for about $250. Is it possible that these guitars are finally starting to get some respect?

Could it be that there are now 3,287 sharks added to the eBay pool? . . .

There is no question that this site has raised peoples's awareness of these great guitars and consequentially, the prices have gone up.
It only takes a few people seeking rarer instruments, particularly in a setting such as EBay to boost prices dramatically.

It's no fun for us poor folks. :(

And I think it's much more fun to get an awesome guitar, awesomely cheap.
