Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub | It's a rattle, makes a sort of cascade sound as the seeds fall from top to buttom... I was thinking of getting one to add to the bongo percussion section I'm creating |

| Hey Bongo Boy - on Tuesday I was in a music shop and they had a set of CONGAS. I was almost tempted just to annoy you. |

Location: NJ | Well, they say that eligibility for Sainthood involves three "miracles" (but I think one of 'em has to be a card trick . . . ).
I USED to have (I lost more shit in that divorce) a 4' long Rainstick. I seem to remember that it comes fom some variety of cactus. They cut off a length, plug the ends and let it dry. When its dry, all the little "fingers that run along the length inside turn into like long, stiff "hairs" and these long skinny seeds fall to the bottom. When ya' turn it over the seeds tumble over the hairs and make the sound . . . |

Musically, the only things I escaped with was my Ovation (and later - after much consternation - my Slothead). |

Location: closely held secret | Thanks, Robbie - thanks for all your input and advice on that as well. I love playing it or just looking at it. Certainly is a head-turner as well!
So, are you going to be able to make it to Keaggy? |
