Location: Anchorage, Alaska | I'm not sure but if you go to his web site
http://www.aldimeola.com/
and click on the Bio page, the guitar he is playing in that photo is the guitar he played last night. |

Location: Texas | Al Di is a monster player.
When he plays nylon strings with M. Barrueco and others, he plays an old Conde Hermanos Flamenco guitar made in Madrid, Spain.
He does not like Ovation nylon string guitars.

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | I saw him with Paco Delucia and McGloflin (sp) years ago, and he was awesome. As I recall he played an ovation steel string. Not sure which model, though all of their playing is still vivid in my memory. Frankly, it was mind blowing. |

| That is the Hermanos in the picture - he's been playing that thing for years. Speaks volumes for the build quality that it can take that kind of prolonged hammering.
What music was he playing all night that didn't need an O or his Roland? |

Location: Anchorage, Alaska | I was a little bummed he didn't play his "O" but he was fantastic! He played a duet set with M. Barrueco who is also fantastic! The show was a solo set by M. Barrueco, a solo set with Al, and a monster duet set to finish the 2 hour show. |
