Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | I'm happy to say that we are finally getting some nice weather here in New Jersey. After a snowy winter and the flooding rains of a few weeks ago, I think that most of us were ready for some sunshine. Yesterday was a great day to sit on the deck with a drink, a cigar, and of course, an Ovation. Oh, and the fact that the Yankees are losing and George Steinbrenner has already begun to "melt down" is just icing on the cake.
The only bummer is that my wife, who is expecting, spends most of her days either asleep or sick, so she couldn't enjoy it with me. Everyone tells me that she should feel better later on. I sure hope that they are right. |

wife..."Brad..don't you think you should....?"
me....."OKAY!!! sheesh, can't a guy wax his truck in peace?"
today....my head.....is cooked!. |

Location: NJ | In spite of a VERY hectic weekend, I did manage to get a bit of LONG-overdue sunburn on my balding pate . . .
Worked all day Friday, drove from work to a gig, played til 1:30, got to bed at 4:30, got up at 9, drove four hours to New Beddfhid, Mass for a 40th birthday, partied all night, and spent most of Sunday sitting outside on the harbour in Newport, RI (sorry Woz, I didn't have your number) where I got a bit toasted (inside and out).
As the the old Strawbs' song says:
". . . it's good to see the Sun again . . ." |

Please don't forget to post a picture of you (taken at Midnight on Fri) sitting in your driveway with a shotgun accross your lap (ala David Crosby from the "DejaVu" album) in hopes of fending off all the "Little Darlin's" in your neighborhood who might want to profess their love and admiration for you by scrawling it in your wet concrete . . .
