I have signed another that I think started in Florida. |

Location: Upper Left USA | When I sent the book to Bailey I sent one of the old Ovation Picks from W2's collection, when I sent one to (?) in Florida I sent a T-shirt from our Youth Group. When I got one from Moody PI it came with a viper body, Deacon neck, Preacher Deluxe neck, some broken pickguards and a cacaphony of parts - so I kept the PD neck!
I just sent the book off to Northcountry with a Country Artist and a guitar strap!
I understand Nils is sparing no expense at what he is distributing!
When the Made in America DVD was circulating I got some home brew Maple Syrup from a brother in New hampshire!
The concept is something to share, not expensive but considerate. Perhaps some Oxycotin for Al? |

Anyone who wants a look after "Slipkid" start emailin Brad now! I'll email you for your address tonight Brad and send it by Monday.
This is a real nice book well worth a peek! I think I may have to buy a copy now.
ENJOY
By the Way; M Woody, Nice Country Artist. Well worth the price.... Someday I may upgrade to a newer country artist cutaway but until then this one will fit the bill quite nicely! Thanks
Ohh Yeah, and thanks for the book to browse! Randy |

I am glad on both counts!
In the book is a list of candidates to receive. Throw in Cruster, aka, Eddy Haskel if you will!
Between the Country Artist, The Book and the OFC you are covered wherever you happen to be sitting! |

| Ya know this book is going to take a while to get to very many people. I would ask that, like me, everyone who gets this read it and pass it on ASAP. It is a good read but not so many pages and photo's that you can't really go through this well in one night. I was going to mail it Monday but now that I think about how many days in a year there are and how many members who may like to see this..... I think I will send it out Tomorrow.
Ohh Man........ who got the pages all stuck together in the Adamas section?

I was the last name on the list and it came with no instructions. As per an earlier post in this thread a couple people sent me their address to add to the list.
So...because we tend to like lists that puts things in their proper order...here ya go.
When I'm done with the book it then goes to cruster.
From cruster it will go trboy (aka Mr. Lanford)
Thats it for now.
May I suggest that we keep the list to maybe 4 people. When the 4th person is done with it, he posts a request for a few more names. This might keep things easier to keep track of.
There is room for two more names on this list. The first two to hit my e-mail will be the 3rd & 4th.
This book has a good pedigree. Tony C., Woody, Baily, Nils, Moody, & Northcountry so far. |

And maybe sign a guest-book thing. That'd be cool. Then I could put it on eBay with 'this uke was once played by W2, and I have the recording to prove it!'

We had concidered what the last stop should be for the book. May I suggest that when it reaches the end (or its filled up), it should make a stop at the Mothership and then make one last trip to where it started. In this case I beleive it would be Mr. Woody. |

The included trinket was extremely similar to the one I received 'cept it said 'Dow Corning' on it. I tried to get a hold of one of their implants to send to (I believe it was) TRBoy, but got slapped for my efforts. ;) |

BTW is there a list for who gets this one next?
The other book (the first one I had) got wet on its journey from MtnBikerFred to me. USPS did a lovely job of tearing open the envelope, getting the corner wet, and having all the laminated pages stick together. Mostly the water just wrinkled the pages. Some of the additionals (ads from Hamer, Genz Benz, etc) were more damaged.
It didn't even have the note from the post office that it was damaged in shipping. Once I got a magazine that was damaged. They put it in a plastic bag and had a note saying it was done during shipment. I guess that is too much to ask these days. Gotta love the US government. That's pride in their work!!! |

AFG - get your address to me if you want to receive the book before the snows hit. Remember - no pony express after October..... |

Apparently you send a present along with the book when you pass it on? I'd be game to send a custom cartoon a la Hizzoner's (see my Cartoons photo album). |

| Money would work better. You have 3 days to jump everybody else in the line.
If you would like to go on the list email me your name and address and I'll put it on the list travelling with the book. This doesn't necessarily mean you'll get the book before hell freezes over, but at least you'll be on the list. |

| Book that arrived here today will go to Alaska Fly Guy. I have added Waskel and Jas to the list, so that should be the order it goes. I will mark the list Book One, and if tten can mark his list Book Two then we should have a better idea of where people are on the list. And folks will know which book they received.
(Ron - Waskel is just down the road in Oregon so you can just drive round with it. Looks real close on my globe). |

I believe the one I started I received twice since Paul Moody had possesion when he sent me his GFKAV. |

| I've never been in charge of anything in my life and I don't intend to start now.
However if you email me I will put your name on Woody's neat and tidy list before I send the book off to AFG later this week. But I accept no responsibility for anything, anytime, anywhere. As long as that's understood. |

Location: south east Michigan | When I shipped the book out it had 5 names on it. Schroeder was the last name on the list. The idea is the last person on the list adds a few names when they get it. To keep it manageable it would probably be a good idea to keep the number of names on the list to about 5 at a time. The last person on the list can come to the board here and get more names.
Schroeder...is the "traveling trinket" still with the book? |

Your "traveling trinket" was in the book I sent ttenn last week! (great "traveling trinket" by the way-thanks)
The book I had was originally started by MWoody and had his name in there twice (he also signed it twice ;) ) I think Schoeder was next on the list after ttenn.
Tom (ttenn), who are you sending your book to? |

Woodster - you appear to have signed every book at least twice. This is close to compulsive obsessive. Relax.
Thanks for the addresses - 2 more people in the world for me to annoy. I'll tell them you sent me..... |

Location: Anchorage, Alaska | I just got the book from Schroeder on the other side of the pond. Unfortunatly, it is raining like a son of a gun here and the book was leaning against the front door since it didn't fit into the mail box and is soaked! Bummer... Oh well I'm working to dry it out so the pages don't stick together. Should be just fine once it gets dry. Thanks for the trinket Schoerder. I'll send the book off to the next one on the list in a few days.

Hope it is OK once you dry it out.
Great idea whoever started the whole "send the book" around. I enjoyed reading it and seeing everyone's signatures. Enjoy

It will be just fine. Very cool stuff in it from what I have had time to look at so far. Waskel in Oregon is the next one on the list from what I can see. |

I would stay away from the paper envelopes. |

Location: Anchorage, Alaska | MWoody-I got the book from the UK in one of those envelopes with the plasic bubble wrap inside but the mailman left it against my door with the top edge down so rain rain down the face of the envelope and leaked it though the top "flap". Hey Waskel-Need anything from Alaska? I was thinking about sending you a little smoked salmon but I'm afraid that, well, you can never tell how long a package is going to be in the mail before delivered from here. Sometimes a week to get 1 mile away, sometimes 1 day to get to New York. Go figure... |

Seems that when the Kodiak awakes from hibernation and attempts to get back into a "regular" routine one of the by-products of the reduced metabolism physiological shutdown is a very dense plug that forms at the end of the out door. There are those brave souls that will find this nearly fossilized artifact and engrave images upon it, similar to the East Coast Scrimshaw. and yes, they will also polish it!
Just a thought... |

I have never heard of it being that hard to where anyone has engraved, polished or had done anything else to them. I just had to call a buddy of mine at Alaska Fish & Game who is one of the head bear biologists and he couldn't hardly stop laughing long enough to ask me if I was serious. Polished, engraved butt plugs, I don't think so... |

We rounded a bend and there was a moose drinking from the river, bald eagles in the trees... just beautiful!
