I'm in the far western suburbs, a long hour away. Even though I live near Detroit, I think the real home of rock and roll is MEMPHIS.......just my opinion. Wish they would've kept it up all the way down to 14 Mile, but alas, it wasn't meant to last. :) Then there was the day Sally went into labor and I was in Grossy Pointy. Actually, it was only 127.7 miles from my driveway to the old Macabbee's Building (well, the underground lot, anyway). Depending on when I hit the metro area, I could make pretty good time...or really bad time. Not a lot of traffic out there around 9:30a, so you could just keep doing 80 almost all the way down to 94. During the morning rush, though, the average was way down.
