I've seen this morning this Adamas for sale on Ebay.

Is it a custom order??
Do you know the story of this guitar??
This solid blue color seems not to be usual!!

Thanks

This is an interesting one ... here's the link to the US version of the auction:

Adamas Blue Boy

It says it was signed by the owner of the company (Bill?) to the founder of another guitar company.

This is one sweet guitar, but pricy unless there's some history ... maybe an ex fuel jockey on this board might remember this one?

might be interesting to see what interest the 30th models might create...

older Adamas that have been sitting around may show up for sale.

what happens to the price of the older ones.

personally, I believe it will bump up the price of the older ones.

heck, we are now talking about three for sale (two of them are 12's.) that is unusual.

Hi,

I've got more information from the seller:

"This guitar was given by one of the founders of Hamer Guitars Jol Dantzig who got it as a gift from the then President of Kaman Aerospace, music division (Ovation Guitars)Bill Kaman. The story goes that it was intended for the Artist market only and was never mass produced and may even be a one of a kind(produced only for the president of Ovation) if not one of a small quantity (possibly under 10)."

Nice story!!!

M.CWK2, do you agree with this story???
Do you know the model number of this Adamas???

The seller sent me more pics, please look at:
ADAMAS "BLUE BOY" PAGE

I've seen something special on this model. The design of the cutaway epaulet is not usual.
It seems to be a standard epaulet that has been cut???

I love this guitar!!

It's the real deal. I don't remember any more than just that one.
