Location: Orange County, California | Hi Guys,
This message is specifically directed at MoodyPI, Noah, PlayAdamas, Stonebobbo, and anyone else IN SO CAL, but all are welcome!! June 11, my community has a fundraiser for our fire department called "The Hooligan" (and all it implies). It's part rodeo, carnival, BBQ, family git'together. We are 15 miles in from San Juan Capistrano. This may be the only opportunity SoCal has to "Out-Do" OFCTX get together for me (yeah, Right!!). If we bring a few guitars, and just sit around strummin' and noodling, I think everyone else there will enjoy it too. We are by no means going to be "the main entertainment" (unless you really really want to), I just think it would be a whole lotta fun!!
Let the excuses roar!! |

Fred, count me in. Which Adamas do you want me to bring? Very Generous offer. Really, what ever you want to bring will be great. I know we talked about throwing some heavy strings on the Classical Proto. It will be outdoors (mostly), and the weather should be nice. Everyone will be respectful of our gear (bring stands if you want). Just whatever you want to play. Any idea how to get ahold of Joe Montoya? I defy him to try to out-do Mike Stevens for showing up with the cool gear we had in TX (Custom Legend LX, Millenium Edition, "Hot Wheels" Elite T, Adamas I, Michelle). |

I'm gonna puke.... Now now, I wouldn't let you drink that much beer. Did I mention we'll have Ice-Cold beer on tap pit-cooked BBQ, Slaw N Beans, and great games like Chicken Bingo and a bull-frog jumping contest? BTW, we do have puppies, Golden Retrivers and Yellow Labs, I do have a blonde daughter, and I'd look great in drag. |

What is it with this guy!? "Secret Mission from God" instead of the OFCTX event. Now some "Guitar Show" in where?? Ohio?? Who does he think he is?? One of the first members of this board or something?? AL, If WE (the members of OFC) say "jump", you'd better learn to land where we are.... :D ;) :p |

I am working on cloning myself, once that is accomplished I can be in many places at the same time. Last time I tried to go to OH I wound up in the hspt for 4 days. I hope this is not the case now. |

Horse Events 8-11 am
Opening Ceremony 11 am
Mechanical Bull 11-2 pm (Start Drinkin Early Boys!!)
Photo Ops 11-2pm (With Guitars I'm Sure)
Tractor Parade 2 pm
Auction to follow
All day: Country Store, kids games, petting zoo, shooting booth, horse shoes food and beverages. Bring your gutars and some tunes.
It'll take about 35 minutes to get here from "town". Our gate is 8 mi from I-5 in San Juan Capistrano on the south (right) side of Ortega Hwy (74). As you head east, It's about 1/4 mi past Casper's Park, so look for that, then put on you blinker. If you're coming west. make a U-turn at Casper's, and go back to our gate. The road up is steep and winding in places, so go slow (30Mph'ish), yield to all other traffic, stay on your side, and enjoy the view!! When you get to the top, just keep going till you get to the fire station. The speed limit in our community is 15MPH. We used to shoot the tires out of people going too fast, now we just take away your keys..... |

My son was selected to an invitational Lacrosse team and we need to accompany him to a tournament this weekend ... in Carmel of all places. Life's a bitch but doing the right thing pays its own sweet rewards. |

| Somebody send me an airline ticket and I'll make up the numbers. It's almost worth coming anyway just to see my daughter's face when I tell her she'll have to walk to her piano lesson on Saturday morning. |
