Why is this guitar surprising? Look around - every cheap solidbody guitar is trying to copy a strat or LP. At least these new york guys tried something different than most? Probably just a bunch of garbage waste parts from New England that washed up on the South Shore. Dave

There are several O copies available over here - even my local store has 3 in stock. Do you not have them freely available over there?

Not so much where you'd readily see them in shops, but they pop up on the Internet fairly regularly . . .

That's pretty damn close right down to the headstock. Not sure about the supposed bowl or back but it sure looks like an infringement to me.

I'd have laughed while handing the name right over to Kaman for a cease and desist! I mean there's probably nothing to worry about as this one most likely sounds like crap..but right is right and wrong is wrong and these guys are WRONG!

I wonder...

I know of a company that contracted out some manufacturing to un Chinois firm. Not long after they sent the blueprints, confirmed that everything was in spec and took delivery of the first shipment, they found that they were competing against their own offshore 'partner.'

It's not like they didn't know about it - these things have been around over here for a while now.
