| All the reviews were good(ish) - but the original rawness and totally out of their minds on drugs was gone. Clapton played tasteful and short solos, Jack Bruce appeared to be being protective towards his new liver and Ginger was apparently even thinner than in days of yore. The audience was all the same age as the band and the overpowering aroma was Boss For Men, not Lebanese Gold.
Be honest al - you really didn't think it would be the same, did you?

Location: SoCal | Be nice. Could be worse. There was an ad on tv about the Stones new tour. It's obvious that Keith Richards has been dead for 20 years and nobody told him. |

Somebody slipped ol' Kieth a Haitian Mickey. Oddly, I initially parsed that as 'Haitian Hickey.' After the vision shiver passed, I realized that wasn't quite right. |
