Location: NJ | Forgot to post this the other day but I was watching the last episode of survivor where they declare the winner. They have a house band made up of the people that compose the music for the show. Well they, intorduce them and the guy on strings is playing an ovation mandolin.
How about that? This is the second time ovation has showed up on survivor.
but what the hell do i know? I am just an idiot that sells gear for a living. |

Location: Finland | I watched some old videos I had taped last weekend and found Clapton's From the Cradle concert practise. Dave Bronze was playing ovation bass in Motherless Child, twele string acoustic guitar piece, with Andy F-L and very old Martin. I was wondering if it is used in recording, don't know.
I got my guitar last week. Thanks to everyone who helped. Actually everyone who writes opinion helps to make a vision from the gitars that are hard to find here. I will leave this forum for a while, because I need to focus very hard in job these times. Special thanks to Dave King for the DVD, I really appriciate it highly. I will try to use Kaki's music in my job, It is hard to use guitar music, because it brings images of the player itself. Her music has many emotion at the same time and that is something great. I use mostly clssical, because it has space for images. Thanks again, you have a great forum, international. |

Location: Connecticut | I also caught the mandolin on the country awards show. It was the band Sugarland that had it. When they played on the Grand Ole Opry earlier in the year they had the blue one that he used last night and a natural top also. |
