One of Britain's richest guys, called Philip Green, just spent £4 million on his son's Bar Mitzvah party. £1.2 million of this went on hiring Destiny's Child to play live. (This guy spent £5 million on his wife's birthday party last year, when he hired Rod Stewart).

So, if you had all that bread burning a hole in your pocket, who would you hire for the night?

with that kind of money they would have to let you sit in.

I'd hire The Band with Wynonna guesting on vocals.

I'm too old to party like that. I'd buy a bunch more guitars and Porsches. I must be as old as Bill, we were listening to the Best of the Doobies on the way back from my daughter's graduation.

GGG,

We'll chip-in together...that way, maybe we could even afford

Corky and the Juice Pigs as an opening act.

(Cliff's gotta be an avid "Juice Pigs" Fan)

I'm with Mark & G3, hire a quality band for the party, then spend the extra $$ on something real.

Hell, this is easy.

Keller on bass, Temp and Al on lead guitar, Witko, Wong, Clifford on rhythm, and Clifford on lead vocals. I would just bounce in and out on guitar and vocals, but with my sound turned down so as not to embarass myself.

Oh yeah, we've done that.

Never mind.....

Morphine is always good. Do they have Lite Morphine? Less filling so you can take it all night long?

Then I talked to a man lived up on the county line
I was washing his car with a friend of mine
He was a little fat guy in a red jumpsuit
I said "You look kind of funny"
He said "I know that I do"

"But I got a great big house on the hill here
And a great big blonde wife inside it
And a great big pool in my backyard and another great big pool
beside it
Sonny it's money that matters, hear what I say

Since we have beer, morphine and popcorn I reckon' a stupifying performance by Michael Jackson would just about round out this shindig. No need for McCartny to show up, because I'll pay Mike to sing all the songs from his Beatles catalog!

Perhaps . . . .
. . . but OFC "protocol" pretty much forbids me from going into any descriptive detail as to what I would exactly hire him to DO . . . .

Sergeant Jim Fowler here, Federal Bureau of Animal Husbandry, Special Llama Division.

It is likewike a federal crime to hire Bruce springsteen to perform non-federally approved sex acts on a Llama.

However, the Llama may do whatever it wishes to Bruce.

It's required reading.
Unfortunately, distributing it violates several international trade agreements, basic rules of ethics and animal husbandry laws in 23 states.

That's Paul Wag's band "Kid on a Pony". They played for us a the Texas OFC get together last month. Paul will give you more info.

In that picture, we asked Ali (who was playing a Fender acoustic) to play the Adamas she has in the picture. That was the Adamas I sold to a guy in Spain.

The mando is Hizzoner's. Paul was playing his Ovation bass. Too bad O doesn't make drums...

ANd I gotta say ttenn, all those Ovations sounded GREAT plugged it! Interesting.... I've never heard my Mando being played before. When you're the one playing it all the time, you get one perspective, but when you're in the audeince listening to it: WOW!
