Not really - it was all about those Adamas things. When the Ovation Marketing Department in Virginia sent me all of this years brochures all that grabbed me by the nuts were the traditional Ovations. I want a Folklore deluxe, a Longneck and a mandocello. And a bass (though in that case I would REALLY love a Hamer 12 string acoustic bass.).

Location: SoCal | I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the traditional series Ovations were just drop dead wonderful.
If I had the money for new Ovations, I'd buy a 1717 Legend, an OFC'er, next years new Adamas, and an 05 Collectors. Then I'd find a used FD 14, and consider myself lucky and done. |

Yeh, right. 'Til the next time........
But the trad Os are just fabulous - I'd spend a lot of money there before I moved into the space age. |

Location: SoCal | We need to be clear what we're talking about regarding "tradional" O's..... Any USA built Ovation from the 60's or 80's. The new series of Tradional O's are modeled on the 1980's O's. Great guitars.
I'd love to have an 80's Legend or one of the new 1717's for my collection. Then get rid of the 1978 Legend (piece of crap) that I've had forever. Or just leave it tuned in Nashville tuning. |

| How do you know it's 3 days? al never told me when he shipped it - I really thought I might get the letter from Customs today, but it didn't happen. Now Holiday Weekend arriving and me off to Belgium 2 days later I'm beginning to think I won't live long enough to see it...... |

Remember- I owe you big time.......
I've already got part one.
Who knows what Belgium will bring forth next week?
Although bear in mind that Belgium is the beer capital of the world. By next Saturday I may have forgotten who I am let alone who you are. |

| I cooked some fabulous Red Snapper tonight - any relation to the tarpon? It's all the Pacific, right? Or possibly not.
My otyher brother-in-law (NOT the NY lawyer) goes fishing every year off Vancouver Island and brings back Pacific salmon - the best fish to eat in the whole world. You have my permission to send me some. |

Location: the BIG Metropolis of TR | I beleive you prepare tarpon for eating much the same way that us southerners prepare carp!(a southern delicacy!!)......Take the fish and nail it to a large plank (hardwood preferably) and place fish/board outside in direct sunlight for 3 days to cook..........after 3 days (longer if you like "well done") bring inside and remove the fish from the board........then throw away the fish and eat the board!!! Bon Appetit... |

| the correct term would be mushy peas. they are a northern delicacy which everyone should live their life without ever eating. |

Probably the one who told us "to hold 1000 feet off shore and wait for THEM to come to you"
...in the boat just up from us. |
