Location: Phoenix AZ | Went to a guys house in Scottsdale yesterday. He has an 05 Collector and wanted to check out the iDEA pre-amp. He's in a wheel chair and I'm on crurches, so I drew the long straw and traveled to his house. Anyway, I had the iDEA loaded up with some of my own tracks and a few commercial MP3's and I'm getting ready to leave the house with the pre-amp in hand. And I wonder, "What the hell would happen if I just plugged headphones into this freaking thing, without actually putting it in a guitar?". So I DID and the damn thing plays just fine. A little more cumbursome than an ipod nano, but it works. Got in the car and plugged it into my cars AUX input and bingo, was able to listen to it on my car stereo while driving. I'm not sure what practical use this has, maybe if you want to listen to your backing tracks ad nasium on the way to a gig (sorta like cramming for an exam). Just another idea for your iDEA ...

(unless you're whistling the tunes through your nose) Hey Webster - why not quite busting my balls and go edit your website because nobody is interested in your October gig schedule anymore ...
And I'm NOT inviting you to my birthday party. So THERE.

Location: Phoenix AZ | Yup. I have been playing it in an Adamas 2080 and in the KOA 12-fret. Both of those are VIP cans. The only aspect of it that will not work unless you install the iDEA can is the AUX input. |

What if we put the "OFC Top 20 Phrases to Rationalize Buying another Guitar" on an MP3 for Members to cram for before a begging session?
We could also include the "10 Things to Never Say" refresher! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I wouldn't know how to use the MP3, but that's OK, cuz I have all of them pretty well committed to memory. Lots of trial and mostly error experience. No reaction to the bid on the K1111 this weekend, but she didn't believe that I called Al just to wish him a Merry Christmas. |
