Happy 45th birthday to me on June 2nd. I've been notified that I'm a finalist in the Access Atlanta/Guitar Genter Air Guitar Contest. My son Adam and I walked into GC on Memorial Day and I entered to win a Fender Standard Fat Strat (I know, but it's free) by airing out Purple Haze onstage with lights and smoke and the whole bit.
So from June 2-9, vote for me to win at accessatlanta.com - taking time out for meals, of course. Voting begins at noon.
You can see the rules, etc. here:
http://www.accessatlanta.com/news/content/services/special/airguita...
Thanks!

As you're well aware guitarists in general aren't as dedicated to the art and supportive of our friends as we are. He'll win even if my name isn't Throckmorton....and it isn't. |

Location: Georgia USA | Thanks all. I think my main competition may have discovered my secret... that when it says you can vote once per hour, it means once per browser per computer per hour. So with the same login info, I'm getting about 10 votes per hour (only at the office) - at home I can get 3 since I have 3 browsers on that computer. |

Location: Georgia USA | Marvin seems to surge overnight, too. Here's what I'm thinking...
I assume he will keep a decent lead, since I'm not gonna blow all my time at work this week voting 10 times an hour on 7 computers. I'm a li'l too busy for that. So let's see how the weekend turns out, then we may have to rework the strategy to bring me in in 4th place. That way i can buy my son a new tuner, and he may stop stealing mine all the time.
Thanks, bros.

edit: opps....2nd place is studio time or something. Just modify the above plan and carry on. |
