Hi,

Can you please tell me what I have to do to clean my Adamas II textured top???
There's some dust on it and i'd like to recover the beauty of the original colors (beige/blue).
I really need your advice because i don't want to do something wrong with my babe!!

Thanks

Jérôme

I would recommend a high pressure spray cleaner, maybe a steam one, I have used these on my '90 GMC Suburban and, other than removing the paint, the dust was completely gone, as were my outside mirrors.

My other reccomendation, which requires some travel, is to take it to Niagara Falls and submerge it at the edge with a STRONG rope, it will come back CLEAN, GARANTEED.

But what do I know, I clean my Viper at the local spray wash, but I always finish with the WAX option.

Thanks Bailey for your recomendations,

I've made what you have suggested and the Adamas logo is also removed now!!!

I can read "Stagg" on the headstock now... :D

Be sure your water doesn't have a high mineral content or isn't "hard" as it can leave a whitish residue. I'd use Evian.

Paul, You should know that there is no such thing as a good French wine. Better to get something from the wine capital of the world - CALIFORNIA. Made in the USA, just like your Adamas (ha ha). Dave

He seems to be like Jacques Chirac but with muscles...

Schroeder,

I always appreciate the "diplomacy" of your comments...

It's surely the difference between French and British jokes...

We have humour and you've got Benny Hill... :D

You have Johnny Halliday, we have music.

Vive la difference!

I know Chirac is the great survivor of politics and he turns with the wind, but I've always rather liked him. You guys will miss him if he ever goes...

Remind me again of a French comedian - anyone will do. Even one....

Chirac is surely the worst french politician of the last 100 years!! I agree with you. He is the king of the cretins but surely not the son of a nazi...

It's not a stupid competition.

I've got some culture, i like to be in contact with peoples all around the world, to discover and to respect every one. I've travelled all around the world and it's my pride. (poland, Italy, UK, Tunisia, Senegal, Portugal, Australia, Kenya, Sweden, Norwege, Danmark, Spain, Seychells, Mauritius, Belgium, Turquie...)

I know, it's not common for a French!!! :D We're usually arrogant, not very pleasant and we don't like to do like he others!! And i'm sometimes like that. I'm French!! ;)

I just can give you an advice. Stop to read your F.....G British newspapers and make your own opinion of the world...

2 years ago, I was in a pub in Brighton with Sean Bury (A comedian and one of my best friends from UK) talking with his English friends. It was a great and nice experience for me even if my English is poor. But with some good English beers, I'm fluent in English...
I know and I appreciate your culture, your music (my ID is Paulmac and you can imagine why i've choosed this one..), your litterature and your country.

But you have to know one thing. The 100 years war is ended... ;) .

I really hope to have you for a dinner pretty soon at home to share my view of life with you and to play with my O's the nicest guitars of the world. (from USA...)
With some English beers of course (the best one with beers from Belgium)...

My "coup de gueule" (Sorry, I can't make a translation) of this evening is now ended.

I'm very happy because I know how to clean my Adamas. :)

God bless you all.

Jérôme :)
