Don't you remember...
The Mari Achi signature model was briefly made 24 years ago (between noon and 5 p.m. on June 7th, 1981) ;)
This may be the only surviving instrument from that limited issue. :eek:

He's just acknowledging the fact that the 1624 shines on bouncy latin stuff, and in particular, music with a mexican flavor. As it's been said here before, Country Artist is a misnomer.
