looks like an old Standard Elite????

Location: SoCal | Are you guys certain that that's not an ebony fingerboard and OP 40 preamp? He says that it is so it must be true.
Actually, it's a 1537. He's right on that. But it's a black walnut fingerboard, old Adamas 2 knob preamp, and AAA spruce top. Wood binding around the body. A great guitar and the seller doesn't really know what he has. |

This guy doesn't know what he has.
The serial number is right for a 1537
OPP pickup
Adamas Stereo Preamp
Walnut Finger board & knobs/Maple inlays
AAA spruce top.
Deep body. |

I placed a bid that was outbid within minutes so it is obviously being watched.
Don't want to ring up the price against a fellow OFCer....so if you are bidding speak up....otherwise, watch out! |

If I try to win this one, I would more than likely offer up my current 1537 to a fellow OFCer for what I paid Tony for it (along with the history as to why the price would be incredible for a 1537).
My current 1537 looks and sounds wonderful...just kinda craving a black one. Have to see how high this one eventually goes. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I assume Jeff is flycasting dog and just bought the FD14. If so, congrats, Jeff. Stephen, if you get the 1537 and want to sell your other one, let me know. I still better wait till fall, though, for a purchase of that amount. I tested my wife's patience when I bought 2 O's on the same day a few weeks ago, just before we went on a trip to Italy. Need to save up a few sheckles. |

Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub | I did win the FD14. Had not yet seen the FD14 when placing the bid on the 1537. I will not be placing any more bids on the 1573.I would have employed the same strategy as T 28 if I had won the 1537 (assuming I will be out bid)
and Thanks, Mark. |

Black is the one color I don't really like on guitars, although my GS is black. I can't seem to keep them looking nice. I'd much rather have your 1537, so good luck with the one on ebay. |
