| I know a standard chromatic guitar tuner doesn't pick up the octave differences, but is there a software program of any type that would aide in tuning a 12 string? |

Location: SoCal | Why would you need to pick up the octave differences? Just tune both E strings to E. Maybe it's just that I'm tired and missing something, but can't you tell the difference between the octave strings? |

Location: Tennessee | My old chromatic tuner has no problem picking up the octave strings. Worst case, tune it by ear to the 12th fret harmonic of the normal string. |
