Can anyone tell me anything about my viper. It's a 1978 natural finish solid body. I already know all the specs about it, i was just seing if anyone had one back in the day and what they thought of it

A number of folks here have them and love them. Check out some of the photos in the members only section.

There has been a LOT of discussion about Vipers on this board. Both moody and I have 'em and love 'em, although some on this board take to bastardizing them. ;)

If you have a few hours to kill, do a search here on Vipers and read all about them.

IMHO, the Viper is a killer guitar.

I have to admit, that I'm one of those who have bastardized my Viper (now known as The Guitar Formerly Known As Viper), but I'm also kicking around the idea of getting another and leaving it stock. They really are wonderful guitars

The viper has been my favorite guitar since I bought it in 1979. I have owned it since. I love the action on the neck. It fits me better than any other guitar I have held. I also like the weight. It is compatable to a Gibson Les Paul. I almost named my son Les Paul (wife objected). My last name is Gibson. He would have been Les Paul Gibson. All this and I still prefer my Viper.

I bought my Viper last year and it's the first electric I reach for these days. In fact, I rarely play my other electrics anymore. I really like the way it feels. It sounds good too, but I really love the way it plays.

I've always liked this one of Mile's.
