Location: Phoenix AZ | Stuck here in Euro land, just another working day on the 4th. Most euros hate us. They can't understand why we love our freedom. Most hate us because we want democracy for iraq. Arabs hate us because we continue to support isreal. Isreal hates that we buy arab oil. Germans hate us because their economy sucks worse than ours. France hates us because Lance kicks their asses every year. Brits hate us because because they are brits. Irish and scots are too drunk to care. It's one freaking crazy world and I'll be damn glad to get home. Happy 4th. Dave |

Location: Denton, Texas | The "World" hates us because we are so blessed. While based at Brize Norton Airdrome in 1959-1960 the Brits treated us cordially and respectfully. In the last couple of years of my flying career going into London-Gatwick in '96 they were still great. Our government supported their foray into the Falklands in this hemisphere. If we had sided with Argentina I would have expected animosity. We hand out dollars for a lot more than oil to a lot of countries in need. We are a loving people inspired to respond to a covenant promise that those who bless you will be blessed, those who curse you will be cursed. The challenge is to bless all unconditionally. It ain't easy. :) |

Location: Isle of Man, UK | Well, today we on the Island have been celebrating our own Independance Day today - 5 July is Tynwald day. The day that our parliament sat for the first time over 1,000 years ago in Viking times, and still sits today - the oldest continuous parliament in the world.
Hope that everyone's 4th was betterthan our 5th - it absolutely p...p... precipitated down all day. Independance rocks!
