Since I work in the maintenance of Naval WMD's and floating money pits I can't help but recognize the similarities between proprietary parts used by Kaman and the parts and processes used in military hardware...

The 1/4 turn fasteners are big on electronics hardware and the Machine screws and inserts on the necks are a major change from the woodscrews used by most everyone else.
