Read the letter that came from Kaman with this one. It's top is made of 300 year old Russian burled walnut, part of the wood collection of a Russian Czar. Has anyone ever seen one of these?

Only 50 were produced for Mars Music in 2000.
Look at this one:
ELITE WALNUT 2000 LTD
Very nice guitar but I don't know anything about the sound.

PS: it's funny to see that the picture of the letter come from my web site!! ;) |

. . . but they could've tyed it together nicer with something better than those slapped-on, one-piece epaulets . . . . |

| Tsarry to hear you feel that way.
(I think it looks like you should keep your drink bottles in it). |

Location: boulder | I saw this one also. It's rare, but I think without knowing how it sounds will (did) keep me from throwing money at it.
As for walnut, the elite 5868 six string angel step walnut is a great guitar. Maybe it is just the one I have, but I think others like theirs also. It killed me not to buy T28's 12 string last week. But I was happy to see MrDano snag it. It was a gorgeous looker as well.
Has anyone ever played a 2000-ltd-burl walnut before, and if so how does it sound???? mike |

| Excellent guitar for a collector. I happen to love the burl wood on anything. And on Guitars it's even better, but, "for the price" I think you'd be wiser buying an Adamas for the resale value, or for buying a korean ovation with a nice quilted maple top like the one I bought for my Daughter for about $400. if you want something to play that looks like this. I'll be honest from the photo's My Girls Guitar looks better than that Elite at 1/3 the price?

Location: Keller, TX | When was the last Czar? Did they have them 300 years ago. From world history in high school (20+ years ago) I thought the Russian Czars ended in 1917 when the guy with hemophelia quit. Or was that the Russian revolution and beginning of communism???
Oh well. I kinda like the guitar. Don't know how it would sound. |
