Location: South of most, North of few | Went up to see Iffy today for a little visit and some playing. Had one of the worlds best Philly steak sandwiches with him and his lovely wife, a couple of beers, got to play his fabulous 1680 (WOW) and ended up bringing 4 guitars back home when I only took three up. He wants me to check it out, kick the tires, and just send him payment when I can. I think he should be selling used cars or something! Anyway, he's getting around pretty good with just one crutch and is improving every day. Good to see you again Johnny! |

BTW, Jim took a '97C for 'tire kicking', NOT the 1680! :D |

I keep telling you that the 97C is a great guitar. I'm going to try your idea for putting a strap knob on the treble side of the neck. |

Jim, haven't you owned a couple of 97's already? I still have TJ's '97C that I adopted back in March. That's the one he was hoping to recapture. But like any good used car salesman, I pulled the ol' bait and switch! "Hey, just take this one home for a test drive." |
