Millennium
The Adamas CVT soundboard is two layers of aerospace-grade crossweave carbon fiber sandwiching a thin piece of poplar. It’s about 1/4 the thickness of a typical spruce top, and much lighter. That means more acoustic power in every note. The midrange muscle of the CVT will be appreciated by anyone who has to cut through electric instruments and heavy drums.

We built about 75 of the Millennium guitars. They had a retail price of about $3,200.00. I say about because they were never in price list or catalog. This was a low production limited edition piece. Really cool looking too as you know.

It is in really great shape for hanging in a pawn shop/music store for it's whole life. I spent most of last night cleaning and restringing her. Man she sounds great! Thanks for all the comments and help.I could not find any information on the guitar anywhere. I might be willing to sell her at some point in the future. I'll let you guys in on it first. It should go to someone who would take good care of her. Thanks again... |

I guess I'll leave it up to you guys to tell me if I got a deal or not on the Millennium.I don't think I stole it but I'm also not sure how much of a collectors item it is or ever will be.I paid $1,700.00 for the guitar and case.It is in excellent shape and plays great. Electronics work and sounds even better plugged in. I have been a long time Ovation fan and purchased a 30th Anniversary Custom Legend this past year and I fell in love all over again. When I saw the Millennium I couldn't let it go. Thanks to you guys I now know the name of this terrible/great condition I have GAS...Be honest and let me know what you think about the Millennium... |

Location: Maryland, USA | I'd say that's a good deal, only 75 were made, and the 80's Adamas' go for around $1000-1200, and there were lots of those made. |
