$635 with a little over 4 hours to go.
I really can't afford it at this time. It should make somebody a really nice guitar. |

| I have been stopped by my wife for a while. I saw Beatlejuice get a real nice Adamas last week! This deal is similiar! A Very Very Nice guitar for a very very good price? IF I did not have a bunch of things going right now I would own both. Good deals still out there guy's.
Wonder what happened to the Adamas market this month?? Very strange indeed

Location: Indiana | Thanx, Randy. I hope to.I know what you mean by lotta things going on, but I don't have a wife to stop me.Until then I'll just "suffer" with incurable G.A.S. I really just couldn't resist this one. I've been playing in a band called "Vivid Blue" so it really will fit right in. Besides, I just couldn't let another one sneak outa the country.

| OHH man your livin large dude! I love my family, I would not trade it for anything not even that old R&R dream I had years ago. But I have to say looking back at those years I sure wish I had given it just a little more effort than I did. BAck then It was just for Shit's & Giggles and Sex, Drugs & R & R. And it seemed like the Band train was never going to stop. It does. So if your not married and /or working on a family then give it 110% and see what you can do.
Enjoy. My friend.
As for me... My wife is right.
I have GAS and I do not need GAS right now I have $20,000 in musical instruments and amps and effects and speakers and etc. etc. Al has a Hamer Bass headed my way
I have a $1,500 sound board I am after as well this month. So I have to stop.
Randy
So I have to let some things go |

Location: Indiana | Did you see that custom made Hamer bass that Al had made for his misses a while back? All I can say is "whoa"! And I have a lotta 'nice" basses. I f your's is anything like it, you'll be very happy.Just $20000? Some people "think" I'm crazy whe I tell them how many guitars I have (53 by next week). The rest have "known" it for years.

| Nice! Got me beat.
Good thing is, if you buy the best or at least keep what you have in very good shape then these instrumnets will always be worth what you paid for them if not much more. Guitars are a very good investment. Not like the electronic keyboard market. Those poor guy's buy $3,000 instruments and can't get 1/4 of that back in a few years.
I'll be honest there's a bunch of us in here that would buy every guitar we don't have. I know I would have three or four more acoustics and a few more electrics and at least a nice Alembic bass to go with the new sound system and on and on and on.
The bass I had made through Al is a copy of Billy Blades bass. Blue flame maple, chambered body, 8 string, 32" neck. Very unique but not quite as custom as Al's was.
I wanted the custom inlay's but this was cost prohibitive. Fantastic looking bass though. Can't wait to find out how it sounds and play's

Location: Indiana | Randy, If you like a 32" scale, I would recommend (some day) tryng out an Alembic Spoiler. They are a great bass and can be found on evilbay at a great price sometimes. I picked one up a year or so ago for $700. A very versatile intrument yet very user friendly (simple to use). But I'm sure you will like your Hamer ,too
