Location: Louisville, OH 44641 | Hey guys:
Does anyone know the difference between the Glen Campbell and Pace Maker 12 strings? I'm looking for a 12 fret 12 string.
Thanks.

Location: SoCal | I'm no expert on the Pacemaker. Couple of cosmetic - bound fretboard, trc, and gold tuners on the GC.
Only played one Pacemaker. Just know that the acoustic GC that I have - I enjoy playing the GC as much as my 1658 CL's. Impressed with the Pacemaker but it just didn't seem to be as good as the GC - course, it could have been the individual guitar, kind of a small sample; probably not fair. |

Location: Central Florida | The only difference is ornamentation. The Glen Campbell has diamond inlays, gold tuners and bound fingerboard. The pacemaker has chrome tuners, dot/diamond inlay and unbound fingerboard. I wouldn't normally do this (so please forgive the self promotion), but I just happen to be selling a '78 GC 12-string on ebay right now. I JUST listed it minutes ago... Here's a link:

Location: Upper Left USA | Nice guitar Jeff. Nice BIN as well.
My first Ovation 12 was a Pacemaker, very nice.
If they didn't make CL's and Adamas I would have it still. Too many flavors out there.
Get Jeff's and don't look back. |

Location: SoCal | there were two GC's that went for around $750 last year...I had to pay $575 (incl high shipping) to get mine in this condition.
Buy it now or someone else will... |

I just got a left handed 72 GC 12-string for the price that I set as my "BIN," which I felt was a great deal. So, you could say, I'm passing my savings onto the buyer of this one, as I'm only interested in recouping what I have in the '72 lefty. Again, sorry for the blatant self-promotion, but that was just too coicidental. I hope someone from here ends up with it.

Kinda like the situations we get into with the Pauls. |
