Here's one on ebay

Could use better pictures but could be a good guitar for someone. I already have a 1972 Pacemaker. 12 fret slothead has a great sound. |

Kim Keller say's it's the best sounding 12 String Ovation ever made. But what does he know, He only works for Ovation. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I've owned many Pacemaker and Campbell 12-strings over the years (I think 7 of them) and they are great guitars. You really can't touch anything close to them for the money. For some reason Ovation abandoned the 12 fret 12'ers and I always wondered why? Maybe they were afraid they sounded too good and would distract people from the plastic bowl. Dave |

Something's weird about this person selling this guitar. BE CAREFUL!

Care to expand on that comment a bit. The seller has good feedback, just isn't very active.
What flags are you seeing?
(Chatman...No I'm not bidding on this one)

Location: Tampa, FL | I prefer to use credit cards for my purchases. I'm not real happy with folks that require money orders or cashier's checks. I just prefer to use one of the escrow services (possibly misguided) or offline credit card. |

I emailed this person about payment, and received some really strange replies. I'm in Brooklyn and she's in the Bronx (a short drive). Since she had this long story of why she couldn't accept PayPal, I wanted to arrange a cash-on-the-spot pickup. She then replied (from her actual email): "Actually I have left for Europe 2 days ago to buy a stock of car parts and engines. Your guitar is ready for the delivery and is located at the shipping company's store. The only thing I need to do to start the shipping is to provide shipper with your address." She then was pressing me to do a "wire transfer" from my checking account to her's. I showed the email to my wife, and she thought in was extremely weird as well. It felt like one of those out-of-the-country, "I'll over pay you, and you can send me the change", Cashier Check scams.
