Anyone got any good suggestions? Didn't spend a lot on the mando...don't need to spend a lot on a bag. Need some padding though.

Hello, The Applause bag is nice. I tend to be cheap, so in a music store one day I spotted a tenor uke bag in blue. I talked them down to less than $20 for the thing, and it fit like a glove. I use it for most of my Mando travels, and it fits the overhead nicely. So bring it along and see if you can fit it to a tenor uke bag. Good Luck.

Yes it'll fit. The body/bowl of the tenor uke and the mando are the same size. mando neck is shorter, so it'll fit a uke bag. Dave

For a celebrity mandolyn, a large brown shopping bag, with the two handles should work just fine. Buy a gross of them and you can always look good going to a gig with a NEW bag. These things are important you know. Use a magic marker and put the band's name on the outside of the bag. You can really be happening!

Shopping Bags! Oh Please! You can make a much sturdier Mando case out of 2 or 3 (depending on foot size) shoe boxes. You'll need to keep one pair of shoes available for padding though.
