Wasn't there some buzz a while back that Ovation was going to do non-limited edition reissue of the 1627 Glen Campbell model as part of the Traditional Series or am I confusing that with something else? Thanks...

Yes, Last year Ovation did a limited edition 1627 re-issue althogh I think it had a deep bowl. I asked Rick Hall about this and he said they only ended up making less tha 10 of them. Would be pretty rare if you could find one. Dave

At the OFC gathering in June, the 1627 was one of the models slated for limited production next year.

Yeah, I remember the limited run from last year. I thought they had mid depth bowls, but I could be mistaken. Didn't realize there was only ten, though. What Paul said is what I think put the notion in my head about a GC reissue. If anyone has any more info on this, I'd like to hear it. I may slate one of these for next year if I can get the mother ship to do one for me in a lefty.
