Location: Michigan | Hi all. New member here. I was wondering if anyone knows of a source for obtaining a replacement pearl leaf rossette for the old Glen Campbell signature Balladeer model I'm restoring. Does Ovation carry this part for sale? Any info on this would be much appreciated. Thanks |

I don't have a answer for you, but you'll get one soon. I bet you will end up calling the factory and taken care of pronto! |

Customer Service has, and can install it fairly reasonable. |

Location: Michigan | Thanks. I'll probably have to give Ovation a call. The rossette is inlaid pearl leafed in appearance, but may be abalone. I was thinking of replacing it myself, but maybe it's better to have them do it. I was wondering if anyone out there had one available. Great site, by the way! |

Location: SoCal | Cas, is your guitar a Glen Campbell Deluxe Balladeer shiny bowl, or one of the later Artist bowl models? The first has an inlaid rosette, the second has a overlaid rosette. |

Location: Michigan | I'm in Ingham County, Slip, near the town of Stockbridge. Moody, mine is a later model, apparently. I mistakely stated inlaid. It's the applied overlaid rossette, Glen Campbell Artist Balladeer. It is pretty rough, but has potential, hopefully. |

Location: Upper Left USA | Or you can send it to the Factory to be glued in, recieve a full inspection and buffing! Ask John to put some shavings in the case pocket for that Factory Fresh smell!
Just overlook the Boston Cream Pie donut finger prints on the outside of the case! |

Location: Michigan | Ohhh...I was thinking Algonac was further North. I'm too far South, I think, and anywhere above the line from Mt. Pleasant is "up north" to me. By the way, do you know about the Balladeer 1111-4. I'm picking one up on Monday. Don't know much about them, but sure is a sweet looking model, with good tone. |

Thirty four years ago I bought my first acoustic guitar. A Balladeer 1111-4.
I still have it.
I just got it back from the factory where I had the neck re-set and some other work done.
Over the years I think the Balladeer has used different brace styles so it's hard to compare even with the same model number. How old is the one you are looking at? Or is it a new one? But age doesn't really matter. The Balladeer is where it all started. |
