Location: Phoenix AZ | I would like assemble a list of all OFC members who own any Collectors Series guitars. That's 1982 right up through 2003 (I already have 2004 and 2005). It's kind of a big job to assemble all this so may take a little while. But anyway, I've set up a special email account. If you would like to be listed, please email me at THIS address:
serials@ovationgallery.com
Please tell me 1) what year, 2) what serial number, 3) your OFC name and 4) anything special or unusual about the guitar.
I am also looking for a representative photo of each years guitar. If you have something, please email it to the same address. I want a full shot of the guitar in front of some non-distracting background. Minimum size 640x480. Since my inbox will probably overflow pretty quick with all the photos, I'll keep you posted on what years I am still looking for. Right now I need photos of ALL years 1982 to 2003.
The format of the serial number lists will be similar to this:
Serial number list
Thanks, Dave
PS - I am still looking for more inputs on the already existing lists, especially shiny bowls and storms. I know there are a lot of you out there! |

Location: Phoenix AZ | The best and worst of friends ... all in the same thread. OK, maybe I have no life so why am I taking on a thankless task like this. A few people have asked about it and I think it would be a really cool thing for the OFC to have access to. Somebody's got to do it and well ... yes, I have no life. Dave |

You've told me the same thing some weeks ago... ;)
It's a great mission.
Thanks Dave!!
And the 1776 Patriot???
Not exactly a collector isn't it?? :D

Location: Boise, Idaho | They have the OP 24 preamp right? I assume the Collector's on ebay that Paul Blanchard has the high bid on is the next year's African Cherry version, because it has the OP40. |
