Have a look here.
Anyone seen this magic DVD (or video) and can vouch that it works.
I think it's a scam as it's almost impossible to find out how much it costs. By the time I got half way through it, I was expecting to be offered a free set of steak knives and some exercise equipment.
If it works, I'll order one tomorrow. (Unless I can find it on eBay) |

Woodrow, I've got almost everything R.A.H. ever wrote. IMHO, Time Enough For Love is one of the greatest novels ever written. I've got a 1st edition copy. |

I agree, Paul, I've read it more times than I can remember.
I especially like the way RH ended it. |

Location: Carle Place, NY | This is somewhat analogous to what I see with golf equipment. These are lots of normally intelligent people who are easily suckered by this type of ad into believing that there's a quick fix for anything, be it playing guitar like a pro in 7 days or hitting a golf ball farther and straighter simply by switching to the newest, latest "break-through design" club.
What's really amazing is that the more outlandish the claim, the more believable it becomes. |

| I like the testimonial on the original add. Last week his teacher set him a MAJOR SCALE to learn. Up til then he'd been stuck on a plateau.
If you actually want to learn anything - the Musicians Institute stuff is real good (but they say if you want to get any benefits you gotta put 90 minutes a day, every day, into your practise).
Guess which method works? |

No intelligent person would play golf. I know, I'm one. Just saw Robin Williams clip on the Scot who invented golf. Google it. I seem to remember seeing a longer version awhile ago. Made me feel stupid for ever taking up the game. |

:D
(ok, he didn't really bet, but urban legends can be fun) |

"At Guitar Noise we have been recommending Andrew Koblick's Amazing Guitar Video for some time now"
Don't they read your reviews? Just curious. |

| Ah yes they do. That is his advertising blurb.
Shockingly commercial of us. As much as I can I've steered people away from it in the forums. |

Location: GA USA | I actually checked out that site a few weeks ago BECAUSE I saw a big ad for it on the front page of GuitarNoise... I dismissed it simply because the web page was so ugly. |

| You know it makes me feel like a sell out sometimes. I mean I don't even make the decision on running the advertising. Guitarnoise gets 15-20 million hits a month,(last time I checked) and the MP3 downloads of the lessons and the article downloads EAT bandwidth.
Somehow the bills gotta be paid.
Sucks... |
