Location: Warren,Pa. | Seems almost wrong to leave this afternoon for a vacation in Maine. Feels like we ought to be going down south to lend a hand. But there are urgent "people" needs every day of my life so I guess I need a rest. We did take up a collection by surprise in church this morning to send for hurricane aid...over $1,000, with more collections to come in the weeks ahead. We're sending teams of helpers down soon...medical people, construction workers, folks who just plain wanna help. I do have a lesser struggle...the Pacemaker I bought on ebay will arrive on my front porch while we're away. Oh well...have a good week everyone. I'll talk with you next week. John <>{ |
