Location: Maryland, USA | Guys all I have to say is I'm REALLY sorry.
But I splurged on this guitar (greed) - and it wasn't an Ovation.
I was looking for an inexpensive acoustic (no longer for college, but to bring to high school), and was searching through some local guitar shops.
I soon played an Alvarez RD20S. This guitar had TONE. I was surprised it had such great bass and treble for an inexpensive guitar.
I later went on ebay and found the same model for $229(+$40 shipping), with the guitar refurbed and that came with a free case and strap. The seller had 700+ feedback at a rate of 99.9%, so I felt good about buying the guitar.
I promise, I'll buy an Ovation acoustic one of these days. I love the Viper though...after playing all these electrics, I appreciate what sound my Viper with the Dimarzio Super Distortion can offer up.
But for another year or two (god it pains me to say this), I won't be getting another guitar. |

Location: Evansville,IN | Don't feel bad Stephen P, I don't own an acoustic Ovation either, although I did lust after an '05 CE, that is now gone. :(
The only Ovation I have is my Deacon, but this is such a great bunch of guys, I would be here if I didn't own any. :D |

Just be advised those guys are extraordinarily picky about who they want as friends over at that other site. When I applied they told me to try the pork chop around the neck trick a few more times - "...it's bound to work eventually" - yeah, right. At least here they talk to you! |

Oh yes, I forgot to mention it's a 12 string.
Another reason why I thought this would be a good buy.
I'll post pictures of it when it arrives. |
