I was turning channels just a second ago and Macy Gray was singing and I could have sworn the guy backing her up was playing an Ovation. Only saw for the last second, but it's always good to spot one on television.

Speaking of endorsees, any familiar with Ana Popovic??

www.anapopovic.com

Don't know much about her except from what I saw in a small "blurb" in a recent copy of BluesRevue magazine . . .

She appears to be predominantly a StratPlayer, but uses an Ovation acoustic-12 . . .

Custom Legend 12, it says. Nice flash work on the site... don't try it with dial-up, tho.

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, I didn't see the O though. Instead the website show Ana endorsing Fender guitars instead.

On her gear page, she has a custom legend 12 listed along with a picture.

FWIW, Macy Gray wasn't playing the guitar. She was only singing. Her guitar player was playing the O. Sort of a tobacco burst, non-cutaway, center hole model O.
