As a friend of mine says, there are three good shows on TV today: Andy Griffith at 5:30, Andy Griffith at 7:30, and Andy Griffith at 10:00. |

Barney Fife on Re-runs of the Andy Griffith Show. In fact, by the time I remember watching the Andy Griffith Show, Barney was already gone and they were starting the trend of the show that would become mayberry RFD. |

Guess I'll get another glass of prune juice. :D |

Are you saying that when you think of the poll feature, you want to "Nip it in the bud?" |

Should we post a poll asking if there should be a poll feature? |

Are you saying that when you think of the poll feature, you want to 'Nip it in the bud?'"
Barney: "Nip it! Nip it! Nip it!"
Otis: "Barney's in jail! Barney's in jail!"
Andy: "Would you pipe down, Otis!? Just pipe down!"
(I've seen the rerun of that one too many times, obviously: my wife bought the video of it somewhere...)

It was a show that took Americans from the harsh reality of nearly live Network coverage of Vietnam and our era of painful puberty and brought them into a small town where a father and son could always make time for fishing and eating home baked pies. You trusted Andy and took comfort that you weren't quite as scattered as Barney. |

"She made pot roast for Goober
And that stupid Ernest T.
And now she's up in heaven,
Poor Aunt Bee, Poor Aunt Bee.
Poor Aunt Bee, Poor Aunt Bee,
Poor Aunt Bee, Poor Aunt Bee.
I know she's gone to heaven,
RFD, RFD" |

| "Let It Be" Based on the performance by Beatles
"Let Aunt Bee" Parody by Claude Prez
When I find myself with piles of dishes
In the sink confronting me
Andy to the rescue:
"Let Aunt Bee"
And when the floor needs mopping because
Opie couldn't hold his pee
Who cleans up the whizzin'?
Let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, yeah let Aunt Bee
Who will do the laundry?
Let Aunt Bee
And when we're hosting dinner just for
Everyone in Mayberry
Don't go in the kitchen;
Let Aunt Bee
And though you hear her sobbing cause she
Dropped a meatloaf on her knee
Who will bring more pretzels?
Let Aunt Bee!
Let Aunt Bee, let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, yeah let Aunt Bee
That's why God made women
Let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, yeah let Aunt Bee
Who will scrub the toilets?
Let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, yeah let Aunt Bee
Bitch make me a cobbler
Let Aunt Bee
She knows that we're just joking; she is
Still our favorite employee
Who could use a smoke break?
Let Aunt Bee
You say that you don't smoke? Well get your
Butt in here and wait on me
Barney wants a backrub
Let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, yeah let Aunt Bee
Gomer needs more vodka
Let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, let Aunt Bee
Let Aunt Bee, yeah let Aunt Bee
Floyd is feeling frisky
Let Aunt Bee |
