Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | I just picked up a lil' sweet '78 1111-4 off Exit 217.
This is the third guitar I've adopted (two of 'em 'O's) via I75; a near mint white Epi Sheraton II from Texas, and an 'O' from Tennessee and this one from Nebraska!
It's been amazing how when ya try to help someone else it can land in your lap. The CL ad was back in early November. I emailed Jeff to let him know what he had, provided links and wished him good luck in a local sale. I offered no bid/offer, just info. I guess he appreciated the pertinent info and not being low-balled.
He actually got excited that he could deliver the Balladeer and save me the $hipping in that he is on his way to his parents in Okeechobee for Christmas for the first time in two years!
Ergo, I have an Ovation for my son-in-law that says he wants to learn guitar. I foresee a 'permanent loaner'...
'O', 'O', 'O', merry Christmas... |

You are one lucky dog, except when you walk the hills of North Carolina. :D
BTW; How is all the hardware in your ankle doing with cooler weather? |

I had a second surgery Dec 12th due to an infection (piece o' cake compared to the first surgery!). Went on the AB infusion treatment.
This past Sunday had a reaction to the AB with hives. Got all 'shot' up this AM and am doing much, much better!
Dropped one crutch early last week (prepping for TJ's visit). Tonight I'm gimping without any extra physical support.
I 'feel' the plate but it's tolerable. Some damned Yankee(s) conjured up some mojo and sent me a 'winter cold' I'm fending off...
My main concern now is being able to attend Serge's G8r Bowl!
Hey, at least I wasn't in the obits this AM! I've got my bride, my family, my 'O's and ya'll to keep me warm... |

Location: Florida Central Gulf Coast | You're correct Jim. I met him there in that they were heading east on 70. No need to make them take two exits...
Searches? Oh yeah... hold on... here's one to check out... 1621 ... Sorry, I got sidetracked... ;) |
