Hi from North Carolina.

I've been lurking for a while and decided it was time to join because I just got a new 1771 LX. I are liking it.

Here's a sound clip. Go to Music and select "Saguaro Suarez". It's my Ovation 1771 LX.

Very very nice. The 1771 sounds terriffic. Are you using a flatpick or finger picking??

Thanks for the kind words.

It's a Jim Dunlop Gator Grip 0.96 MM flat pick.

I've wanted an Ovation since I was a kid. I finally got one! It's great. Especially for recording. I have a couple Taylors and the Ovation is so much easier for me to play.

Nice tune. I plan to listen to the others a little later while doing some work.

Welcome to the club and glad to have you on board!

George,

That was a very nice piece of music. I really enjoyed it, and of course, the guitar was super. Do you have a tab available? ;)

I turned it up part way through to hear it a little better. The harmonics between 2:20 and 2:30 are a nice touch. Great work.

Very nice, George. Was going to wash my car or play golf, but now I think I'll go practice my guitar. Maybe after another 50 years I'll be able to sound like you.
