Old 1771 or Pinnacle

They are the best Ovations you get get from Asia. Quality solid tops and excellent workmanship. What vintage/model Pinnacles are you looking at? Some early ones were made in Japan and were especially good. The 1869 is a Custom Legend ... and at $150 over a Balladeer is a no brainer (assuming good shape of course!). But it too is a shallow bowl ... Uh. Bit the bullet and bought the Pinnacle as a start that I can sell. I like the shallow bowl for practice - which "I" need lots of hahaha. Judging by your input I may take a harder look at the 1869 after playing the pinnacle - it's coming in off Ebay. the 1869 is local hahahah.
