It has been suggested here that buzzing could be caused by loose nuts at the posts on the tuners. I checked the nuts on my 1537 when I was changing strings and found that they were all in need of about 1/3 turn. I used to get some hard to pinpoint buzzing on certain notes. Now all buzzing has been eliminated!

Thanks to whoever made that suggestion.

Yah that was me. My D28 was buzzing very slightly on certain notes. I finally got sick of it and began trying to hunt it down....was a loose nut on the B-string tuner. One quick turn with a wrench and no more buzz.

I just took a 75% paycut from my monthly retirement annuity from Delta. My nuts are very tight. :-(

The strangest buzz I had was when I was plugged in. I couldn't locate it anywhere on the guitar and found out that certain notes were vibrating the strings on my 12 string and I had a pick stuck in the strings. Took the pick out and moved the 12 further from the amp.
I just reread my first line and decided I've had lots stranger buzzes than that, but I don't drink that much anymore.

75% - ouch! If other retirement plans follow suit, I guess that means I'll have to work till I croak. Not exactly what I envisioned 20 years ago ... maybe a rich somebody I don't know about will die and leave me a few mil.

George, was this a regular pension? Can they cut your pension by that much? I thought there was some kind of government regulations or guarantees regarding pensions.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties.
