The countdown has begun! My Ovation Elite 1778LX-5 (Black) is due any day now! Paid Rs:82,600/- in advance to the dealer here in India as the guitar is shipped from the US.
I had 2 guitars in mind: a Martin D-28 or an Ovation LX series. The Ovation won because of the following 3 plus points : Beauty, India-friendly (tropical climate) & I always play plugged-in in public.

Ok, that's the extent of my Hindi (hopefully, I haven't failed the efforts of my good friend Srinivasa). Welcome to the board! Where in India are you? About two years ago, I was invited to the wedding of the brother of a friend, but was unable to go due to timing issues. I was deeply honored to be invited. Wish I could have made it as it was near Chennai and I would've loved to see the area. Someday. |
