Wasn't someone here into Murga boots? Check out this guitar on feeBay . Seller (guitarget) claims it's a Murga leather Telecaster. What a trip.

It is, except Tony Murga is in Laguna Nigel, Ca. Parts probably came from Warmoth, just like the Ostrich ones Tony and I did.

Great information. I must confess that I find it strangely attractive. What's the story with the pickup configuration? I see an SD bridge pup, but nothing else, although it has a selector. Are there piezos hidden in the saddles?

The Esquires only have the bridge pickup.

Even I will come out of lurk mode to support Tony M. Best fitting boots I own, for a 1/3 the price of some of the boots I own.

Hrmm, the plot thickens. So, is the switch setup like the Esquire, then, with the caps? That might be mighty interesting. Not that I have any use for a leather-clad tele. But, the way I play I don't really have use for any guitar. ;)

We made some like this with a tapped pickup. Front switch position was 5000 winds, middle was off and back was 10,000 winds. Maybe this one is the same if it's one of the ones I put together for him? The caps just work on the tone control normally, not like the Esquire.
