First off, I love my Ovations, but the post is not about 'em. Secondly when I'm not sitting on the deck playing "Four Strong Winds" and annoying the neighbor's cat, I'm listening to music. Know that there are a couple of Jerry Douglas fans here in the forum. His newest release is great: "The Best Kept Secret" Lots of guests and great dobro and lap steel.

HUUUUGE Jerry Douglas Fan. The new release is great.

FYI Dobro Fans. I was taking the US Congressional Bi-Partisan Committee through a Climbing Program for a day and for the party afterward, they hired a band called Bering Strait - A Russian Country/ New Grass Band (I'm not kidding) made up of 6 young classically trained muscians from some very elite ("Secret City") school in Russia. All incredibly talented, but the Dobro/LapSteel player was exceptionally so. The best I've heard since Jerry Douglas....and he's 25 years old

Give a listen to "From Ankara to Izmir" - Alexander "Sasha" Ostrovsky
