It might have been in style at one time. Remember when the cool thing to have was olive green kitchen appliances? |

Location: Bluffton, SC | I do, Brad. Mom was huge into olive appliances. I still find myself having uncontrollable crying fits over it. And don't even THINK about mentioning rust shag carpeting. I've broken three top notch psychiatrists over that combination. |

It wasn't olive green.
"Avacado".
WAY huge in the 70's . . .
That and "Harvest Gold" (and "Flame"). . .
We're saving up to re-do the kitchen in our Townhouse (it can't happen SOON enough for me).
Townhouse was built in '77 and still has original stove:
Harvest Gold. |

I am not a fan of the black Polane paint. I found a lovely Mahogany Deacon under some once.
I do like the Elite T though. Odd how that works. |

Location: south east Michigan | I don't think that any other guitar maker has as many little quirks and variations in design as Ovation. There always seems to be something interesting to discover. Being a fan of another brand would be very boring. |

In some parts of the country it's considered an "accessory". |

Our fridge is still harvest gold.
My folks is coppertone and my mother got upset at me for cleaning out the coils so it would keep going, she is ready for a new one, but being people who lived through the depression, you have to wait until the one you have gives up the ghost before replacing it. |
