Location: NW NJ | Ellen Degeneres is doing this whole week from NYC and yesterday had Cindy Lauper on for at least 5 minutes playing an acoustic set with a beautiful 1778-4 Elite. She had another guitar player and a pedal steel player with her. Very nice to see an O in the spotlight on national TV. |

Location: Central Florida | Well, these days I suppose ANY exposure is good for Ovation, but a has-been 80s artist who was never taken very seriously to begin with, AND who's never exactly been known for her guitar virtuosity, isn't exactly my idea of a ringing endorsement. But what do I know, I'm just a middle aged fat guy that used to play guitar for a living. ;) |
