Hi all,

I just came home from our local Borders....I was looking at books on Johnny Cash, after having seen the movie "Walk The Line" on Friday (a good movie, BTW). I was looking through a book that Rolling Stone magazine put out on Johnny Cash...and what should I see but a picture of John R. at his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 1992, playing an OVATION ELITE(!!!!).

It wasn't a Martin, it wasn't a Gibson, and it wasn't even BLACK (think it was a -1).

When I first pulled my Ruby Graphite Adamas out of its case a few years ago, my wife said "Wow! You bought a Johnny Cash guitar".

Not sure where that came from, but there it is.

Saw "Walk The Line" last night. Really good movie.

Cheers!

Jeff

I recently purchased a reference book entitled "The Luthier's Handbook" by Roger Siminoff. I bought it to aid me in the process of building a guitar.

Ovation, among others, is featured prominently...even a picture of Charlie Kaman holding an Adamas. Cool book...

(...published by Hal Leonard :( )

They're showing up everywhere these days...
I spotted a roundback on a stand in a Petsmart TV commercial the other day.

The Red Balladeer LX made another appearance on "Lost" a couple days ago.
