Best nylon strings for Viper EA63?

Joined: October 2005 Posts: 52 Location: Orlando, FL Since I'm new to nylon string guitars, anyone have a suggestion for strings for the EA63? I had a set of Pro Arte EJ46Cs that I put on it. (They sound pretty good!). What's best for these guitars? One guy at a used guitar shop said that with the longer scale length of these nylon string guitars joined at the 14th fret you really needed to use hard or extra hard tension string so that there would be some resistance and they wouldn't be too "mushy". an4340 Posted 2005-12-05 3:34 PM (#127132 - in reply to #127131) Subject: Re: Best nylon strings for Viper EA63? You're using probably the best strings for your guitar. I've tried a bunch on my Country Artist (from all different manufacturers) and the EJ46C's are the best. I keep a set of ernie ball something ball ends in the case, in case I'm out and I have to do a quick change. But these strings last months!
